Please note-
-Early entry- $160 per team ($40 per person, per day). Early entry closes 6th August.
-Late entry $220 per team.
-Entries close 12th August (NO REFUNDS FOR WITH DRAWAL OR RACE CANCELATION)
-The Tour will be limited to 25 teams of 2 racers (50 racers total). Entry is not a first entry form in bases, but rather each entry form will be assessed to check that each team member has the appropriate skills and experiences to compete in a challenging winter alpine environmental over 2 days.
-Ideally each entrant would have the following skills/experiences-
·Have previously competed in a ski mountaineering race and/or
·Have a sound background in ski touring/ski mountaineering
·Be a strong down hill skier/snow boarder, experienced in a variety of off piste snow conditions
·Have all the required safety equipment
·Have the expected level of fitness to complete 2 days of ski touring, up to 1500 vertical meters each day (3000 vertical meters total). 2 - 6 hours each day.
- The pre race gear check will be held on Friday the 13th August in Castle Hill Village at the CHVC Hall from 6:30pm.
- The pre race meetings will be held at the above venue on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th at 7:30pm.
- Prize giving/BBQ will be on Sunday the 15th at the CHVC Hall post race (apporx 3pm)
